Our family-run boarding and daycare home sits on two acres, just ten minutes from downtown Rock Hill. We intentionally limit enrollment and carefully choose dogs who will thrive here. That lets us know every dog, protect the group dynamic, and provide 4+ hours of supervised outdoor time each day.

Our main boarding building is a comfortable fit for social dogs who enjoy the group. The smaller sunroom offers a quieter, home-like space for shy or older dogs, dogs on medication, or pups who are new to boarding.

Standard boarding
Every dog has a personal kennel in our heated and cooled 1,200-square-foot building, with two quiet rooms for restful downtime after play. Spray-foam insulation, staff-accessible cameras, monitored smoke detectors, and a backup generator help keep everyone comfortable and cared for.
Up to 5 dogs
Sunroom boarding
Attached to our home, this heated and cooled space offers a quieter stay with its own private paddock. Dogs may still join the larger playgroup when that makes them happiest. Cameras and smoke and carbon-monoxide detectors add extra peace of mind.

Once you’re family, we help take care of you.
Keeping our pack intentionally small means dates can fill quickly—but our support does not end when our calendar is full. When we are closed or unavailable, we help families explore space with two trusted homestyle partners: Newport Pet Boarding & Daycare and Rock Hill Ruff House.
Both partners use Paw Partner, the same booking and payment platform our families already know. Each business manages its own availability, reservations, agreements, and payments, while the familiar system makes the process easier to navigate.
It is one more way we look after the people and dogs who have become part of the Rock Hill Pet Care family.

The people behind the pack
Our home is part of what makes this work.
Rock Hill Pet Care is run by husband-and-wife team Trenton and Casey Madden from their home on two acres. We started in 2019 because we wanted dogs to have more fresh air, green grass, and personal attention than a large facility can usually offer.
We keep the pack limited so we can know every dog by name, understand their routines, and build real trust with their people. Once a family joins us, our goal is to become the dependable care team they can turn to—not just a place they book.
We send photos every day, adjust outdoor time when weather calls for it, keep fresh water available, and use midday naptime to help the afternoon group stay happy and safe.

Frequently asked questions
What happens after I submit the Tell Us About Your Dog form?
We carefully review every form to decide whether our group-play environment is likely to make your dog happy and comfortable. If their needs and personality appear to complement our current pack, and we have room, we’ll invite you to a meet-and-greet. Because membership in our small group is selective, the form is the first step—not a reservation or guarantee of an invitation.
What dogs may not be a good fit?
Our setting is generally not appropriate for dogs with bite attempts, unsafe aggression, severe separation anxiety, repeated escape behavior, or behavior that makes group play unsafe. We also cannot accept intact females or puppies that have not completed their vaccine series.
Can you care for dogs with medical conditions?
We can give routine pill and tablet medications, but we are not equipped to provide higher-level medical care or continuous medical monitoring. We cannot accept dogs with conditions such as diabetes or seizure disorders, or dogs who require injections, emergency intervention, or other specialized care.
What vaccines are required?
Rabies, DHPP/DaPP, and Bordetella must be current. Puppies must complete all rounds of puppy vaccines, usually around 16 weeks old.
Do you take intact dogs?
We currently accept intact males. We do not accept intact females because they can significantly change group dynamics and create safety issues.
What does a typical day look like?
Dogs enjoy 4+ hours of supervised outdoor time each day, with adjustments during extreme heat, cold, or storms. A peaceful midday kennel break helps everyone recharge before afternoon play.
How are feeding and medications handled?
We normally feed morning and evening, but can follow your dog’s home routine. Bring food in individual bags. Routine pill and tablet medications are included; we cannot accommodate dogs who require higher-level medical care.
What happens if you are full or closed?
Once you are part of our family, we want to help you find good care even when we are unavailable. We work with Newport Pet Boarding & Daycare and Rock Hill Ruff House, two trusted homestyle providers that also use Paw Partner. Each business maintains its own calendar, agreements, pricing, and payments, but the familiar booking platform makes planning easier.
What can my dog bring?
Beds, blankets, and safe chew toys are welcome. Very large bedding may be hard to wash if soiled, and rawhide chews are not given.
How does payment work?
Reservations are prepaid through Paw Partner, with a card kept on file for approved additional charges.
