What to Expect Before Boarding My Dog?

1. Initial evaluation: Most boarding facilities will require you to fill out a form with information about your dog, including their age, breed, medical history, and any special needs or behavioral issues. This information will help the facility to provide the best care for your dog.

2. Accommodations: Most boarding facilities offer a variety of accommodations for dogs, ranging from individual kennels to group play areas. Some facilities may offer additional amenities such as indoor/outdoor runs, exercise yards, or specialized play areas for small or large dogs.

3. Feeding and watering: Our facility will provide bowls and kennels for your dog, and you will need to bring food for your pet, and a slow feeder if needed. Be sure to inform us of any feeding instructions or restrictions.

4. Exercise and playtime: Most facilities offer some form of exercise and playtime for dogs, either individually or in a group setting. This may include walks, playtime in a fenced yard, or interactive toys and games.

5. Medical care: If your dog has any medical issues or requires medication, the facility should have staff on hand who are trained to administer medication and provide basic medical care. Be sure to provide the facility with any necessary medication and instructions.

6. Pick-up and drop-off: Most facilities will have specific times for pick-up and drop-off, so be sure to plan your travel accordingly. It's a good idea to arrive a few minutes early to allow time for check-in and any necessary paperwork.
